Quinta do Damasco is the culmination of a deeply personal journey, bridging our rich Syrian heritage with the serene landscapes of Portugal. Located in the peaceful rolling hills of Alpedriz, near Nazaré, our 5-hectare estate is more than just a farm; it is a sanctuary where we have rebuilt our connection to the earth. Driven by resilience, hope, and a passion for authentic living, we established this retreat to share the warmth of our origins alongside the unparalleled tranquility of our new home. Every tree we nurture here, from the ancient olive branches to the youngest fruit saplings, stands as a testament to starting anew. When you walk these grounds and feel the quiet breeze sweep through the valley, you are stepping into a living story written with patience, hard work, and deep gratitude for the land that embraced us.
A Sustainable, Chemical-Free Ecosystem
We believe in working in absolute harmony with nature, ensuring that the land we nurture today will thrive for generations. Our estate is completely chemical-free, naturally sustained by a gentle local river and our beautiful, traditional Portuguese well (poço). Across the grounds, vibrant olive groves and seasonal fruit orchards flourish under careful, sustainable stewardship. We proudly manage our own Iberian beehives, allowing us to harvest pure, artisanal rosemary honey directly from the surrounding, untouched flora. By rejecting synthetic pesticides, we allow the earth to breathe and local wildlife to find a safe haven within our borders. This mindful approach ensures that our soil grows richer each season, fostering a diverse ecosystem where birds, bees, and native plants coexist peacefully. We see ourselves not merely as owners of this estate, but as its dedicated caretakers, committed to a regenerative cycle that honors the natural rhythm of the countryside.

Our commitment to natural, authentic produce extends far beyond the borders of Alpedriz, reaching directly into the culinary landscape of Lisbon. Quinta do Damasco serves as the proud agricultural engine behind Tayybeh, our authentic Syrian restaurant. By cultivating the land sustainably, we ensure that the fresh, organic ingredients, rich olive oil, and artisanal honey served in our restaurant are deeply rooted in the soil we tend. This closed-loop farm-to-table philosophy guarantees that every dish at Tayybeh carries the genuine story of our farm.
